Mike Sousa has been in the personal training business since 2009. He is a team leader with strong first, certified to teach kettle bells, barbells and body weight movements. He is FMS© certified, and a nutrition coach with precision nutrition.
He started his career at In-Shape Health Clubs in 2008, and co-owned Full Force Personal Training from 2010-2015. In the summer of 2015, he opened his own studio, the Brick House Strength and Conditioning LLC.
Mike’s training style combines a balance of both strength and flexibility. One is not optimally maintained without the other. The goal is to get you stronger, more flexible, and all around healthier.
Due to Mike’s experience working at a family gym, he is proficient in training a wide spectrum of clientele. He has coached high school athletes, professional fighters, pre and post partum women, future brides for their weddings, severely and moderately overweight populations, as well as seniors with replaced hips, knees, and shoulders. His goals are for you to leave each session, feeling better, stronger, and better able to handle your daily stresses.
On his own time, he likes to blast metal \m/, lift Heavy, and religiously watch football.
Current goal- 250lb clean and overhead press.
